The problem is that with this code, a person with a different race, sex, or marital status (or any other status) can change their employer, and thus be able to discriminate against another. For example, the code that would allow a woman who was married to a man to change their employer because they were married would allow that women could only change jobs if they were already married.
A few years back we talked to a woman about her job requirements. She was told that they couldn’t ask her to perform any services or duties that would require a license. She thought that was a good idea, but was a little upset about it. After all, she thought, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to work anywhere she wanted? I guess it would. I know that I would. I think about it all the time.
The thing is that the fact that some professions require licenses and others don’t is one of the reasons that we have so many occupations. The law enforcement is one big place where the only thing you have to do is pass a test. People who work in security and armed services are a bit more complicated. The military is another, but they’re also a lot more complicated than other jobs.
A lot of the times it’s the government that has the most control over the job. We need to have the right people who we can rely upon to work on the jobs that we are tasked with.

This means that if you are a US citizen, you have to serve in one of the Federal courts.
In the 1960s, the US government had the practice of requiring all employees to serve in the military. This practice ended when the US invaded Iraq and the US Military was disbanded.
