Don’t let the title fool you. This blog post is about how a lot of people have a hard time trusting someone who is older in their profession, but it’s actually not as bad as they think. In this article, we will discuss why ageism may be coming from our own personal biases and how to overcome them by understanding that there are benefits to getting older in your profession. In this article, we will discuss why ageism may be coming from our own personal biases and how to overcome them by understanding that there are benefits to getting older in your profession. It can be difficult when you start out because there isn’t enough experience under the belt yet; however, after some time passes and projects get completed with positive feedback then those biases slowly disappear – even if only for one person. One thing I would recommend for anyone starting out (especially women) is that they try not to compare themselves too much against others at work or in school.
